This day trip takes you to the beautiful island of Curieuse, home to giant tortoises and a former leper colony during colonial times. Peaceful and serene, the free-roaming giant tortoises allow themselves to be touched and stroked by visitors. A guided tour takes you through the island’s rich mangrove forest and lush vegetation to the beautiful beach of Anse José, where you then enjoy a sumptuous Creole barbecue and soft drinks. The afternoon ends with a snorkelling trip around St Pierre Island.
